We can rejuvenate our brain by movements. Different movemenets moulds brain in different ways. For optimal brain health we need a mixture of

  • Long duration zone 2 endurance exercise -eg 45 minutes jog/run
  • Short bursts of intense movement- eg sprint for 30sec and then slow walk to recover and then repeat (HIIT-High Intensity Interval Training)
  • Strength training- body weight calisthenics or dumbells
  • Balancing movements - eg pilate, yoga and taichi
  • Joints- eg active or passive stretching (Yoga asanas)
  • Breathworks- eg pranayama
